SINJIN SMITH Olympic athlete, World Champion, and Hall of Fame Inductee - He is one of the most accomplished players in beach volleyball history. Known worldwide as the King of the Beach, he earned over 140 professional victories and helped shape the modern sport through decades of elite competition and leadership. Sinjin offers advanced-level private lessons for experienced athletes looking for high-performance training, deeper game strategy, and world-class competitive development. His sessions are best suited for committed players seeking to refine technique, elevate beach IQ, and push their game to the next level.
STANTON SMITH A highly experienced beach volleyball coach with over a decade of training background, Stanton brings a calm, technical, and detail-driven approach to developing intermediate and advanced athletes. With collegiate playing experience at Santa Monica College and Cal State Northridge (CSUN), he blends strong fundamentals with smart strategy and clear, supportive instruction. Stanton offers private lessons for committed athletes who are ready to refine mechanics, strengthen ball control, and elevate their beach IQ. His sessions focus on purposeful drills, smart decision-making, and building the long-term skills needed for confident, competitive play on the sand.
HAGEN SMITH Full-time professional beach volleyball athlete Hagen Smith is one of the top rising competitors on the AVP Tour. Known for his powerful athleticism, elite ball control, and advanced game strategy, Hagen trains and competes against the highest-level athletes in the sport. He offers private lessons exclusively for competitive and advanced players seeking professional-level development.
BELLA AVELAR Pepperdine Beach Volleyball collegiate athlete Bella Avelar brings high-level competitive experience and strong technical fundamentals to our advanced camps at the Annenberg Community Beach House. Originally from North Hollywood, Bella joined Pepperdine after graduating from Notre Dame High School and training through top Southern California beach programs, including Sinjin Beach Club. As the head coach of our Annenberg location, Bella leads advanced level camps with a focus on clean mechanics, purposeful drills, and building confident, adaptable players. She is also available for private lessons and works with athletes of all levels, from beginners to advanced players.
