Sinjin Smith

Founder and Master Coach

Sinjin Smith won 139 pro beach events in a Hall of Fame career that spanned four decades. A two-time All-American and National Champion at UCLA, the “King of the Beach” went on to win multiple World Championships and compete in the Olympic Games. A Master Coach, author, broadcaster, actor, and executive. Sinjin personally instructs all his coaches and many of his players, passing on a lifetime of knowledge. Full biography & timeline here.

Dennis Marlow

Director, Sinjin Volleyball

A longtime player and high school coach, Dennis Marlow founded Crescent BVC in 2011 to offer aspiring beach athletes the level of training they expected from indoor clubs. Dennis co-founded the NCSVA with Sinjin Smith, a partnership that expanded to include Beach Volleyball Camps and CBVA tournaments. An alumnus of UNC, Dennis left the East Coast in 2002 and competed on the AVP Tour until 2005.

Morley Perrin

Marketing & Operations Director

Morley grew up in small town, Glenwood Springs, in the mountains of Colorado seeking out beach volleyball every chance she got. Chasing beach volleyball, she studied Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly where she competed for Todd Roger's NCAA D1 Beach Volleyball team and continued to start and grow Cal Poly's Beach Volleyball Club team. This is where she met Sinjin, Dennis, and Greg and began running tournaments as the Regional Director in 2017. Now, Morley has taken charge becoming the National Director for the NCSVA.
