Founded by beach volleyball legend Sinjin Smith, our camps bring Olympic experience and a lifelong passion for the sport to kids across Southern California. For over a decade, Beach Volleyball Camps has been the place where players of all levels—whether touching the ball for the first time or chasing advanced skills—come to learn, grow, and love the game.
At every camp, athletes build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong memories in a safe, fun environment led by an incredible team of coaches. Sinjin makes guest appearances throughout the summer to inspire the next generation, sharing his knowledge and stories from a career that helped put beach volleyball on the Olympic map.

SINJIN SMITH
Sinjin Smith is a legendary beach volleyball player who has been a dominant force in the sport for decades. He is a World Champion many times over, an Olympian, Hall of Famer and much more who has achieved numerous accolades throughout his career. Today, he is sharing his expertise and passion for the game on many beaches around the country including his home beach in Santa Monica. He coaches at various camps and clinics throughout the year, helping players of all levels improve their skills and develop a love for the game.
As a player, Sinjin was known for his incredible skills on the court, as well as his intensity and ability to concentrate over long periods of time. He was a key player in the rise of beach volleyball as a professional sport in the USA, helping to popularize the game in the 1980s and 1990s. He also helped start the World Tour and was instrumental in getting the sport into the Olympic Games.
The beach volleyball camp in Santa Monica is the perfect place for aspiring players to learn from a true champion of the sport. Located on the picturesque beaches of Southern California, the camp offers an ideal setting for players to improve their skills while enjoying the sun and surf.
