Founded by beach volleyball legend Sinjin Smith, our camps bring Olympic experience and a lifelong passion for the sport to kids across Southern California. For over a decade, Beach Volleyball Camps has been the place where players of all levels—whether touching the ball for the first time or chasing advanced skills—come to learn, grow, and love the game.
At every camp, athletes build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong memories in a safe, fun environment led by an incredible team of coaches. Sinjin makes guest appearances throughout the summer to inspire the next generation, sharing his knowledge and stories from a career that helped put beach volleyball on the Olympic map.

SINJIN SMITH
Born in Santa Monica, Sinjin Smith is a legendary beach volleyball player — a multi-time World Champion, Olympian, and Hall of Famer whose career helped popularize the sport in the U.S. during the 1980s and '90s. He was instrumental in launching the World Tour and bringing beach volleyball into the Olympic Games.
Today, Sinjin shares his expertise at camps and clinics around the country, including his home beach in Santa Monica. Players of all levels train under his personalized, supportive coaching style — covering everything from serving and passing to hitting and blocking — in the perfect setting of Southern California's beaches. Training with Sinjin means learning the game from a true icon of the sport.
