YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS

Legendary beach volleyball player, Sinjin Smith, started Beach Volleyball Camps in 2003 to help boys and girls learn to play their favorite sport in a fun and safe environment. Today, the concept is flourishing and our flexible programming makes it easy to join whether you’re looking for a month, week, or just a day of fun and instruction. Join us on the sand from 9-12 or if you're looking for a full day at the beach, sign up for sand and sea activities from 12-3!

Our approach is to focus on the fundamentals, with campers divided into groups based on age and skill level. Pick your location and sign up today!

"My 9 yr old son absolutely loved Sinjin Smith’s Summer Volleyball camp last summer. He learned great skills and really enjoyed the beach time after the volleyball part. The counselors are great with kids, responsible, and very respectful. The camp fees were very reasonable and scheduling was flexible. We had a great summer experience and would recommend this camp to anyone interested in volleyball." - Jenny P.

"Our daughter enjoyed many summers taking Sinjin's VB Camp. She developed a love for beach volleyball and learned so much while having a great time with the coaches and other kids. Highly recommend!" - Shari H.

"My son has been attending Sinjin Smith’s beach volleyball camp since he was 9! He not only had the best time playing volleyball every summer, learning new skills and playing his favorite sport, but loved staying later for the sand and sea camp where he surfed, played in the ocean and interacted with other kids his age. Now that he’s almost 16, he’s looking forward to going back this summer, hopefully as a junior camp counselor, so he can help other campers have a great summer camp experience and practice (or learn) their volleyball skills." - Andrea (Andi) W.

WHAT TO BRING

MEDICAL HISTORY FORM

It’s very important that you print, fill out and bring this form on your first day.

NOTE: BVC staff members are not responsible for monitoring personal medications and are not authorized to dispense, hold or monitor medications under any circumstances. If you have a medical condition that requires medication be available to you on-site, please notify the Site Director to make arrangements.

BAG or BACKPACK

Campers are responsible for carrying their own belongings. BVC coaches are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Place your name and any other identifying information INSIDE your bag.

SUNSCREEN

Camps are conducted on the beach and sunscreen is essential. Please apply sunscreen liberally to your child’s entire body BEFORE arriving at camp and bring a container to re-apply during the day.

FULL DAY CAMPERS SHOULD BRING A BAG LUNCH

CLOTHES

All campers will receive an official BVC camp t-shirt on the first day of camp. Dress in a swimsuit or other comfortable beach clothes (shorts, t-shirt, tank top.) We recommend light colors that reflect sunlight and keep you cool.

FOOTWEAR

Bring sandals or shoes to walk between parking lots, restrooms and courts. Bring sand socks or athletic socks or aqua socks in case the sand gets very hot. These stay on campers feet better than shoes and are available at sporting goods stores and online.

HEAD & EYEWEAR

Bring a hat or visor and sunglasses.

BEACH TOWEL or MAT

SNACKS & DRINKS

Water is provided on-site for all campers at regular breaks. If you want something else to drink or eat—like energy bars, sports drinks or fruit—bring it.

"My kids love Beach Volleyball Camp and look forward to going all summer.  They learn a skill and have fun doing it, and you can't beat spending your time at the beach. They have really improved their indoor game as well. The staff is great too!"

"My daughter loved her time at Beach Volleyball Camp. It was so easy to register and well worth it—for her and for me." - Patty
